Good questions.

Is my clipboard data sent anywhere?

No. ClipVault stores your history locally on your Mac and never uploads it. Secure text fields like passwords are ignored automatically.

Which Macs does it run on?

Any Mac on macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. The app ships as a universal binary, so it runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel.

Why does macOS warn me when I open it?

The app isn't yet notarized with an Apple Developer ID, so Gatekeeper shows a caution the first time. Right-click the app → Open → Open, just once, and you're set.

How do I change the shortcut?

Open ClipVault's Settings from the menu bar. The default is ⌘⇧V and you can grant Accessibility access there so paste works everywhere.
